Last week, members of our Customs team began training on a new AI-powered Customs and Logistics platform. While we’re still in the early stages of rollout, we’re already seeing how this technology will enhance the way we support our clients across import, export and compliance.
What this means for you….
1. Faster turnaround times
By automating many of the manual checks and data entry tasks that traditionally slow down the clearance process, the platform helps us prepare and lodge declarations more efficiently. That means quicker responses, fewer delays and a smoother path through Customs.
2. Improved accuracy and compliance
AI-assisted validation tools help identify potential issues—such as tariff classifications, valuation queries or missing information—before documents are lodged. This reduces the risk of errors, avoids unnecessary holds and supports stronger compliance with Customs and biosecurity requirements.
3. Greater visibility and communication
The platform gives our team better real-time oversight of shipments and documentation. With clearer tracking and smarter alerts, we can keep clients informed earlier and more proactively when action is required or milestones are reached.
4. Proactive problem-solving
With more data at our fingertips, we can identify trends and potential bottlenecks sooner. This allows us to address issues before they impact delivery timelines and provide more strategic advice on future shipments.
5. More time for client service
By reducing repetitive administrative tasks, our team can spend more time doing what matters most—working closely with clients, providing tailored advice and ensuring shipments move as smoothly as possible.
Looking ahead
We’re excited about the efficiencies and insights this new platform will bring.
The next phase of training will cover import/export freight operations.!!!
As we continue training and integration over the coming months, our focus remains in delivering high quality reliable services.
If you have any questions…..feel free to get in touch with one of our team to discuss further.
