DP World have shared encouraging news in the aftermath of the recent cyber-attack, that port operations across Australia have resumed. While all terminals are currently operational, achieving complete recovery will take time.
The DP World Client Notice can be found here
Despite somewhat promising news regarding the Cyber incident, the Unions have seen fit to continue in their Protected Industrial Actions at all DP World terminals across Australia.
The impacts of the cyber-attack in conjunction with the ongoing protected industrial action will however create compounding delays across Australia’s waterfront.
Newly announced work bans and stoppages in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Fremantle will hinder the recovery efforts to process the backlog of containers which accumulated over the weekend.
A full list of the scheduled work stoppages and bans can be found here for each State.
We will continue to monitor each container on a case-by-case basis and offer solutions to minimize the impact of delays and associated costs.
We appreciate your patience as our team navigate these ongoing challenges. Should you require any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact our office.
